The South Park Abbey is one of our favorite haunts. It's right up the block from West Coaster Graphic & Web designers Josh & Brittany, serves great beer/food at fair prices, and has a friendly & relaxed vibe. On the night of January 5th, CityBeat had other plans for the South Park Abbey.

The best chicken wings in San Diego? Well, we'll let you judge. Stop in, pick your flavor, or bring a couple of friends and mix and match your orders among BBQ, Asian, Apricot Chipotle, Sweet & Spicy, Buffalo, Hot, or “Tough Guy” Sauce.

We'd like to say the secret to our wings is a top guarded secret. Truth be told, anyone in the area of The South Park mid-afternoon is on to us. We smoke our wings (slow and low) to get them so, so fall off the bone tender. Once smoked we fry our chicken wings to order and coat those bad little guys in the sauce of your choosing.
